National Collaborative Outreach Programme

The National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) aims to boost participation in HE in some of the most disadvantaged communities.

Phase one of the programme started in 2017 and ran until 2019, with the aim of increasing the number of young people from under represented groups into higher education. Phase two aims to build on phase 1 is due to finish in July 2021. It supports 2 strands of activity:

  1. Targeted higher education outreach within the local areas where we can have most impact
  2. Outreach hubs within 29 local partnerships with cross-England coverage

EMWPREP are working with four consortia (Pathways; LiNCHigher; DANCOP and Higher Horizons) to lead on the monitoring, evaluation and tracking of their NCOP activity.
