National Networks for Collaborative Outreach
The National Networks for Collaborative Outreach (NNCO) scheme aims to encourage more young people into higher education (HE) by bringing together universities and further education colleges into local networks to provide coordinated outreach to schools and colleges.
EMWPREP have been commissioned by the NNCO covering Leicestershire City and County known as REACH, to lead on the evidence strand of their NNCO development plan. The REACH Partnership, formed in 2013, is made up of all the Higher Education providers, secondary schools and further education colleges in Leicester and Leicestershire. All these organisations have come together with a commitment to provide the best possible opportunities for those in the area who wish to access the benefits which Higher Education can provide. The work provided by EMWPREP will include a variety of monitoring and tracking reports, as well as the implementation of a local School Privacy Notice Pilot Project.
EMWPREP are also collaborating with five local College Higher Education (CHE) providers to assist in the monitoring and evaluation of their outreach activities.
The scheme officially ended in December 2016.
