The above presentation was delivered at the NEON Summer Symposium, held at Keele University in June 2022, addressing the conference theme ‘What success means in terms of widening access and participation in higher education’ by illustrating the way the East Midlands Widening Participation Research and Evaluation Partnership (EMWPREP) worked with the Higher Horizons to understand how effective their outreach work has been on progression of students that were ‘HE ready’ in 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21

The above presentation was delivered at the NEON Summer Symposium, held online in October 2020, addressing the conference theme ‘Let’s work together – how can students shape the future of widening access’ by illustrating the way the East Midlands Widening Participation Research and Evaluation Partnership (EMWPREP) worked with the University of Derby and the Bishop Grosseteste University to evaluating outreach post-entry of participants of sustained and progressive outreach programmes to their host institution.

The above presentation was delivered at the HELOA Professional Development Conference, held at online in September 2020, addressing the session ‘Evaluating your success’ by illustrating the way the East Midlands Widening Participation Research and Evaluation Partnership (EMWPREP) would suggest adapting evaluation frameworks, tools and techniques in times of great uncertainty to continue your ability to measure impact and success.

The above presentation was delivered at the NEON Summit, held at etc.venues Maple House Birmingham in May 2019, addressing the conference theme ‘Taking NCOP into the next phase: challenges and opportunities’ by illustrating the way the East Midlands Widening Participation Research and Evaluation Partnership (EMWPREP) works with our NCOP partners (Higher Horizons and DANCOP) to target, monitor, evaluate and track participants of residential events.

The above presentation was delivered at the NEON Summer Symposium, held at the University of Lancaster in June 2019, addressing the conference theme ‘The third age of widening access’ by illustrating the way the East Midlands Widening Participation Research and Evaluation Partnership (EMWPREP) works with the University of Derby to evaluate their Progress to Success scheme.

The above presentation was delivered at the HELOA Professional Development Conference, held at the Crowne Plaza  Manchester in July 2019, addressing the session ‘Evaluating Events’ by illustrating the way the East Midlands Widening Participation Research and Evaluation Partnership (EMWPREP) and our NCOP partner Higher Horizons deploys an evaluation framework to understand the impact of events.
